Pavlo 24 August 2002 11:44 AM

yes, it's the MRT unbreakabl gearset, that's all.

I can recommend the unbreakable gearset - it is very good, and fine for every day use!

I DO NOT THINK THAT THIS ONE IS THE MRT SET

Pavlo 25 August 2002 08:53 AM

There is someone else doing an uprated gearset, that was quite secret. But TEG are doing the MRT parts.

Frank (?)

I'll make it a little easier for you :D

As I understand it, TEG will no longer be selling the MRT version of the Modena dog kit, but a newer better version, and dealing direct, rather than buying via MRT, who will only be able to supply the older version.

TEG will also be supplying the new range of Modena front, rear, and centre diff's.

There are two types of front, and rear. Plated, and the "geared" type, similar to the Quaif design.

Having seen these, and had I not already bought the Quaifs, I would be fitting them to my car, and I'm saving for the new centre diff'........

I have no commercial interest in these products, or with Modena.

Mark.

Thanks Mark I couldn't have put it better myself but I have become reluctant to post on here as I keep getting e-mails in a pointing finger and telling off sort of way!!!!!!!!!

But you are correct in everything you have said we are now dropping the MRT dog kit which was originally made by Modena but marketed by MRT. We have now designed one ourselves along side Modena this was the gearbox that everyone is talking about throughout various threads and was used on our test day.

It was in fact top secret at the time but this gear kit is due to be launched within the next two months as the worlds strongest gear kit ever to be fit in a standard Subaru casing, it comes complete with every internal part know to man!! including steel forks, new steel rods, as well as the gear kit itself. Apart from the hum of the straight cut gears you could run it in a road car no problem and know the kit is bomb proof.

The next free test day will be in approx three weeks and we are going to go alot more public, so it will be open to all and posted when we have a definate date for anyone interested to come along and try the kit and a full range of diffs etc etc in various rally cars.

Once again thanks for the interest, and by the look of this thread it is no longer top secret!!

Stuart.

Hi guys. I'm new here - a friend told me about 'Scoobynet' and it looks like there are some really knowledgable people here !!

Stuart - I've heard rumours from friends in Australia, that you and Modena are working on a six speed sequential gearbox....

Is this true, or is this bull*hit ? If it's true, when will it be out ? Cos I'd luv one !!

Mark
