Whats the main difference?
just im buying the 50mb one like now! Si |
I'm sure Lee can fill in the details but it boils down to whether you want a Unix Shell account (can be useful) vs ASP/MS COM programming bits.
Apparently some people would also rather stick forks in their eyes than use a MS IIS server aswell ;) Deano |
Just to add, if you're developing your sites at home on Windows - Choose Windows. If you're developing on Unix - Choose Unix.
Even allegedley cross-platform languages like PHP can behave subtley diferrently on different OS's. |
ok thanks mate! i was just emailing lee

If you've never heard about case sensitivity, choose Windows ;)

Si,
well if they are a *nix host then you will *have* to go the PHP MySQL route no doubt about that, if its Windows hosted then you are looking at probably MSAccess/ASP Gary |
