Hi everyone just after some advice on how you'd go about reducing body roll whilst cornering?

cheers

Dyney 21 August 2002 03:59 PM

er!
Stiffer Anti-roll bars?

or stiffer suspension:D

Sorry, not taking the piss! Honest:);)

Leon,

Dyney is right. To reduce unwanted suspension/body movement uprate the springs, dampers, anti-roll bars and rubber suspension components/bushes.

sorry i should have mentioned i've got a UK STI and don't want to change anything that would void my warranty.

do strut braces help with body roll at all?

Not really:( sorry!

Some dealers will honour your warrenty if you get them to fit it:)
Ask you dealer if they will if you got them to fit new anti-roll bars.

It might be worth geting the tracking/alignment checked independatly as Subaru have a very wide tolerance for the alignment figures when they build the cars. It may allow you to smoth out your driving style:D

Iain.
