A Boxter S is an easy pray..even for my Celica GT4

In what way? Performance perhaps, but what else?

Isn't it all about the pleasure you get from driving a great drivers car. Instead of mine is fast than yours. Once a car is quick then much is down to driver skill, how much money has been spent on it and conditions.

I think 968 Club Sport I owned and My current moddified WRX are both fantastic drivers cars. Both fast as f**k and a realy good drive. I saw a heavily modified cossie at Goodwood not long ago - which looked very very quick on the track - respect. Who cares exactly how quick. So chill everyone and enjoy.

You either have a fast, rewarding driver cars - Lotus, Scooby, EVO, Porker, Skyline, E30 M3, Cossie and many more...

Or you have something that gets you from A to B.

I just happen to worship at the altar of the Scooby but respect to all the other great cars out there and the people that drive them.

Cheers
Steve

David,

Wasn't taking it serious - was gonna say anything less than 400hp per ton, but if you're happy with 300 that's fine ;)

STOP PRESS or what...

Has anyone read Autocar last week when they took all the performace cars around Goodwood?

The new STI got beaten by...wait for it...
Lotus Elise 120 BHP
Porsche Boxter S
Focus RS....
all 2 wheel drive cars.

Bearing in mind the absolute coating the boxster has received..this proves that it is a great car to drive, handles very well...and puts pace to a scooby around the track. As does the Focus RS. ( I like the car and a good bit of engineering)

They said you have to WRING the STi's neck to get any sort of pace and grip out of it...oh yeah steve sutcliffe was driving and he is pretty handy...a damm sight better than me...and most of you...

That's gotta hurt guys!!
