ok I've just fitted my Dawes + AFM (mmmm :D) and I was wondering if I was going mad or I could remember a thread about a DIY FCD? if not what sort of money is it going to be for a puca one?

Get a Knocklink too to add to your collection of gauges.

The DIY FCD results thread which I can't find has various circuits in. The best/easiest one we came up with had a zener diode, LMC7111BIN op amp and a variable resistor, and reduced the slope of the voltage vs. pressure response curve after about 2.3V which is atmospheric on the 3 bar MAP sensors.

You may also find that bleeding off from the manifold feed to the pressure sources switching solenoid will do similar, but probably compress the vacuum and boost signals around atmospheric. Only fiddled with this briefly, but it did work and only raised your fuel cut, and didn't need any electronics.

Or you could buy an HKS FCD.

Whatever, keep an eye on that Knocklink!
