I have been having a slight problem with cold idling in the past week, which has not been too bad, and only lasts 2 minutes at most.
However, this morning I had a different experience, which may or may not be linked. I got going just using the throttle to keep the engine running, but after 2 miles or so I got a hesitation. I don't think it's engine related (like MAF or similar) as when it occurs, I get complete electrical failure, the tacho drops momentarily, I can hear a relay switch under the dash, and after a split second it's fine. On occasion it was on/off rapidly for about 1 second, relay fluttering as it happened. By the time I got to work (20 mins) problem was not really there. Possibles: Immobiliser wiring? Ignition on relay? When I arrived i tried wiggling the loom under the dash and to the ecu, adn I couldn't get it to cut out. Any ideas? Paul |
