I got an HKS SSQ dump valve of Graham Goode^s for £280 inc VAT and next day delivery.Check out their site at www.grahamgoode.com
Its the best £280 youll spend.

Turbo timer....IMHO, a waste of money. As for the HKS or Blitz type dump valves, they may look all shiny etc, but nearly £300 for something that doesnt make the car go any faster/increase power one little bit... Not a chance.

555-Scooby, give Paul Mc Loughlin a ring on 086 8797512. He owns a company called Macspower Motorsport just outside Dublin, he looks after most of the members of the Irish Subaru Drivers Club. I sure he will have some in stock.

So there's no power gain, but does it not help improve the turbo lag? As well as sounding great?

No power increase. In theory, it should help reduce lag, between gear changes only, by allowing the turbo to keep spinning, instead of stalling. This doesnt happen on a std subaru much anyway, because they are fitted with dump valves as standard.
The only way you will see in increase in performance, is if the standard one is faulty and leaking, which although rare, can happen.
Actual turbo spool up time, will not change in any way apart from that.
