Ive got Office XP and im just routinly going threw updating the OS and major programs.
just seems theres pages upon pages of updates, Just getting the SP1 But what are the other essentail / usefull updates? thanks Si |
Si,
I would just stick to the security and service pack upgrades for now. I find that Office XP has more stuff than I'll ever need, but it is good to know that there also a lot of other useful, free, addons. I guess it all depends on what you use office for. Basically, I just keep an eye on the updates page for anything I *might* need in the future, i.e. just remember it is there for that time when I do *need* it. I went through the "download everything" phase with Office 2000. Turned my installation from bloatware into super-duper-take-twice-as-long-as-original-to-start-ware ;) If you get me drift. Cheers Ian |
