Having read the recent posts about the +/- of thes i have decided to buy one, but which one is best? they seem to vary in price considerably.
Thanks in advance for any info.

The thing is, nobody buys three or four, tests them all, then decides which one they'll keep!

From my experience, the Whiteline one works well. Powerstation do a bomb-proof one as well, if you want to pay for it. I think Eibach do one too, and of course there are the OE Subaru ones.

To be honest, i think i'd be pushing the realms of credibility if i suggested you could tell one strut brace from another on the road, so buy one you can afford and like the look of.

OMP do one for £37 available from Demon tweeks.

You can spend a lot more! I've got one and it does make a differance though I'm upgrading it to a Cusco one soon (To match the rest of my braces).
I'll let you know if there is a differance:) (I doubt it!)

I don't think there IS a best one. As far as I can tell, they all do the same damned thing. I went with Cusco braces on both front and rear on my car. A noticible difference in rigidity, but nothing terribly excessive. If anything, it forced my tires to work harder and caused slight understeer. However, my Whiteline rear sway bar compensated for that. :)

Absolutely totally agree with our American friend as far as the handling is concerned :) People reporting huge differences are exaggerating!

Differences between strut braces may be the quality of the material used, the tolerances for the holes where the strut brace fits onto the suspension top mounts, and of course the weight. :)
