Does anyone know what boost the 1994 type RA (not STi) should be running?
Boost gauge should be arriving monday, but i'm very impatient.

also, what level of boost is safe with one of these (it has a closed deck block if that's relevant!)

I would guess at somewhere around 0.9 bar.

As for safe levels .... I'm running 1.3/1.4 peak on mine (MY00 RA).
... but I have ahd a couple of things done ;)

If you put 2 peanut and caramel BOOSTS inside the airbox i think it will be fine.

I have a 1995 WRX RA with dp, sti back box and k&n, running about 0.65 bar and puts out 265bhp

0.65bar, 9.425psi? are you sure?

hi,

have a 99RA with de cat s/s straight through, hks induction kit, and octane booster.
Dunno about the BHP but boost gets to and sits at 1.2 bar.

Yep MY00 RA sits at 1.2bar but I am expecting 1.3 when it goes colder :)

Optimax and Millers O+ (one bottle per tank)

Still have a OE DP with cat but straight through TSL centre and scoobysport BB

The car is running a IHI VF29 turbo
