Please Don't Get on The Bandwagon of me Glamorizing Car Crashes. This is just an update from the posts before and is a warning to say 'this is what happens when it all goes badly wrong'

Old news update here

Was he driving the Scoob?

Huxley 28 June 2001 09:41 PM

Yes

TonyBurns 28 June 2001 09:53 PM

Read about it in the paper today, it seems he also forced someone off the road before the accident as he was over the white lines going through the corners http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif

That's my old car - my girlfriend always said that car would kill someone

He apparently told his mate he lost control of the car and there was nothing he could do.

BUT On trial made up some cock and bull story. He brought in his defence the fact he was x number of times British rallyx champion or something. Does that make you a safer driver or a worse one? His a reply, a safer one.

Au contraire. Overtaking on double white lines? From what seems to have happened here (and he has been convicted remember) this guy is an arrogant fool who drives on everyday roads as though he is in some sort of rally/race with a shameful disregard for every other "inferior" driver.

He is a disgrace to driving licence holders, in my opinion, and deserves all he gets.

So there.

=> valid for every Scoobie-driver: You're NOT God! Keep this always in mind...

(also valid for other fast cars...)

Hope they throw the book at him, he deserves evrything he gets, so he's a rally/race driver does that make a difference, he should be made to account for his actions, I myself was involed in a simumlar accident myself back in 1996 thankfully I lived to tell the tale, sadly the other driver didn't in this case.

We are all so judgemental.

I bet a lot of us have "nearly" done something like this ourselves at some time in our lives and got away with it.

Just learn
