OK peebs here`s the gen ;)

2 days organised 1st on the 25th & 2nd to be confirmed for either 1st Sept or 8th. If any1 listed for the 2nd session is not ok with the 1st Sept please lemme know ASAP.

The doc file for the running order is at http://www.scoobymods.co.uk/dyno_aug_sept02.doc

I`ve tried 2 accomodate every1`s requirements so if any1 wants a swap let me know ASAP.
Could every1 also mail me their contact numbers incase there are any last minute changes I need 2 advise u about.

Dave Allan gimme a shout ASAP bud, I`m out n about jnow so get me on 07939 416007, need speeks with u urgent.

Thanks again folks

Pete

Forgot to say just open it from current location if u like, there`s a realtime virus scanner runs on my hosting server so the file`s in good nick ;)

Once every1 hasd checked their running date please Email me a cofirmation of acceptance ASAP, as I need 2 confirm all places are filled and firm up the second running date.

Garry (Gadge) could u do me a favour (since u are not running a scoob and ur allocation was based on running the Scoob) and swap dates with Neil (NeilXR) that way he can get his run before he leaves ?

Andy F confirmed u for 25/08/02 (A3)
JohnSTi confirmed u for 25/08/02 (A8)
RobD confirmed u for 25/08/02 (A11)
JasonO confirmed u for 01/9/02 (B12)

ChrisG I can`t get enough cars together to fill a 3rd date at the moment. Hang fire though I`m working on it.

Pete

Have had a few enquiries recently about when the next group
rolling road session is, so I`ve talked to Star and provisionally
arranged something ;) Now all I`m looking for is a show of hands
as 2 who is seriously wanting to dyno their mota.
The format of the last one was good for every1 as there was no big rush to get the cars pushed through, so we`re looking to keep to the same format, this was a maximum of 15 cars. If you really want to know what kinda figures u r mota has then get u r name down for it. Either mail me off-line or reply to this post. Dates etc will be finalised once enough cars are available to fill the day (normally a Sunday). In addition to the usuall stuff I`ve also been talking to some magazine promoters re potentially covering the event, so we can raise the profile of these events.

So if your up for it gimme a shout ;)
BTW results of our previous events are available on my site at
http://www.scoobymods.co.uk/

If anyone has seen the thread on the General BBS relating to Rich Wild's brother, may I suggest that each of us there donate money and send it on to Rich or the hospital which took care of his brother ?

Dougster 30 July 2002 06:43 PM

Good idea. He sounded like a top bloke.

After reading the threads today I went to the docs and picked up some donor cards.

teknopete 31 July 2002 01:19 AM

Ok folks here`s the deal.
Other than make it 2 soon and 2 give every1 the chance 2 recover from the USSC @ Crail on the 11th and get their final pre dyno tweeks done ;) we have the option of the following dates.
25th August and / or 8th September. The events are to be STRICLY limited to an absolute maximum of 12 cars with 1 reserve running per event, as this allows time to set the cars up properly and make any small adjustments if necessary.
Going by the amount of interest generated I suggest we do 2 seperate events ? 1 for the first batch of scoobs (and Keith 2 give a contrast ;))
And one for all other cars and any late comers to the thread.

Jim is gonna arrange the BBQ for his legendary burgers,
and the teas. So all we have to do is turn up and enjoy the show ;)

The cost of the event/s is to be £40 per car for 2 runs.
I am currently trawling my mail to compile the lists as some peebs mailled me direct and so got in there 1st. I`ll post the running
lists for 2morrow night if everyone is OK with the 2 event dates.

We currently have 16 scoobs (in different guises), 2 Skylines,
1 or 2 Supras, 1 XR4i. In order 2 fill the 2 events we need a definate for a further 5 cars. Any takers ?

L8r
Pete

ChrisG 31 July 2002 01:37 AM

Pete,

Doing a grand job of organising as normal ;)

I am working on the 25th August date so if possible, can you put me down for a place on the 8th September please.

Cheers,
Chris
