I need a 90K service asap how much should it be without a cambelt change?

Is it the same as a 30K & 60K service

Cheers

Not sure but must lop about £250 off I guess, but would you want to risk not having the cambelt changed?? I remember when I was getting close to the time of my 90k service I started driving a little less hard just to be easier on the belt. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

I know it's a lot to pay (circa £500), but I personally would not want to risk not getting it done.

to add, its a non-turbo sport & the cambelt has already been changed

Cambelts need to be changed every 45,000 miles or 3 years whichever is sooner. 90,000 mile service is a combination of 45,000 and 30,000 mile service.

Not sure if the Impreza engine is non interferance or not but I would bet money that it isn't. If the cambelt snaps then that is one mullered engine. Is it really worth the risk to save a few hundred quid??

Invisible,

OK, was wondering if that was the case. Not sure if it being a sport will make that much of a difference though...

Best bet is to ring around a few dealers. I found one (Beechdale, Derby), who did me a speacial price on my last service. You will probably be able to find someone who can do you a good deal.

Good Luck
