How much Taxi fare to go from London Waterloo to Baker Street anyone ?

In my experience it's £10 wherever you want to go in London - it's the near death experience you're paying for.........

How long a journey would it be roughly ?
Will be about 10am mid-week...half an hour ? Ro. |
All depends on the traffic, went for an interview last year, got a cab from Victoria to Chancery Lane (Usually £5-£10) guess what traffic was hoached and it cost me £28!!!!

Well, as it happens, my lot do passenger cars too :D
Fixed prices for postcode to postcode (+ any waiting time after 10 mins & car-park if required (like @ W'loo for meet & greet). http://www.excel.co.uk/executive Best for pre-bookings, airports etc. Benefit over licenced is fixed rates & well cheaper out of hours. Account facilities available, cash or credit-card too. We are PCO licenced as well (none of your dodgy-geezer uninsured blaggers for us ;) ) & 5 Star listed for LHPCA. £11.50 is our "off the 'puter" charge for that journey - call me if you want a haggle ;) Journey time "should" be about 15 - 25 mins absolute max, but check out demos & tube strikes  Allow 30/35 IMHO & JIC  [Sorry about the "free advert" but it suited the post ;) ] [Edited by Puff The Magic Wagon! - 7/22/2002 2:25:14 PM] |

Why not take the Bakerloo line underground from Waterloo to Baker Street. But otherwise expect £10-15 pounds and about 10-20 minutes for the journey. You should go via Buck Palace, Constitution Hill, Hyde Park Corner, Park Lane and Marble Arch for speed.
