Just booked a holiday to Kos with four other mates - can't wait ! Has anyone else been there ? (I'm staying at Kardamena) Just after any views on the place - good/bad. And any advice if I need any !

I went there the first year it was used as a tourist resort, but unfair to give any thoughts as that was 20+ years ago.

its ok food is very cheap full english breakfast for £2 starlight was the disco from what i can remember !! hire mopeds and tour the island for £15 Kos Town for old relics if that is your thing. pleny birds and not to many larger louts so you should score!!!

Nah man,,,, hire a Suzuki Jeep and go and trash it on the beach - thats what we did not a brand fire new one when we went...

From memory Kos town... the used to be Bar Street 1 and 2 - 2 was small whne I went... however bar at the end nearest the beach.... I threw up all over the bar, entrance and in the street as the bstard behind the bar gave me this cough mixture liquior 90% proof.... serves the **** right ! :)

Weather - hottest place I have been to... clear blue skys every day !

Hot...too f@ckin hot for me....wear sandels on the beach, the sand'll burn your toes off.

I'm off to Kos on Wednesday - best place I've ever been to! We're staying in Kos town - very few lager louts, but full of Scandanavians ;):D:D Also, be aware that it is dam hot!!! :D

My brother's just been there for 2 weeks and had a great time..

red hot, plenty to do and nice and cheap... I might go there myself later on in the year.

Pretty near to Rhodes too and they do a day trip to Faliraki which is fun. Watch out for the police if you get a bit noisy though. Some of the locals don't like the noisy tourists too so be careful.

Have a good 'un... it should be hard not to !!!

Best lads holiday ive had!

You absolutely have to eat at the Blue Note and ask for Yamis, who knows us as the Bournemouth boys :D

We ate there every night, and he absolutely poured the drinks on. We had about 4 cocktails each before the meal, loads of beer and loads of his weird cocktails. Even kept a special table for us.

Go to Club Tropicana and ask "are the drinks free" Really pisses them off. :D Flamingo's was pretty good too.

We got there and sat in stunned silence as about 5 million fit 18 year olds wandered past. Though we had got on the plane to Flange land....

We went out in togas (bed sheets) most nights and works well with the ladies.

Get in there!

Best holiday of my life mate, stayed in the 20's apartment near to where they have a 24 hr hotel with pool.

Don't go anywhere near 'Starlights' at the weekend as the Army Boys (Greek) will be in there. When we were there (Kardamena - 6 times now)we heard the Brits become targets for them.

Also Kardamena = Brits, Kos Town = Germans

Check out 'Down Town' before you hit the main clubs, ie betwwen 00:00 and 02:00.

The best place to eat on the Island is 'Ta Adelfi'. Try it once and you won't go anywhere else.

By the way that second to last smilie is a boy + girl, not boy on boy.
