This has come from the FTO board. (I don't own one I just work with someone who does)

Ok here's some good news...

You may have just spent the whole of Sunday morning cleaning & polishing your pride & joy. You may have also spent most of Sunday afternoon admiring your work. But, by the time you get to work on Monday the whole of the front bumper is covered with dead flies and bugs that will only come off with a hammer & chisel.

Last week my wife recommended trying some baby-wipes (the packs of impregnated damp cloths designed for the cleaning of er, babies exhaust pipes. Made by Pampers etc. etc.)

Well they are superb! I didn't get time this weekend to clean the car but I did nip out with a couple of baby wipes and a few sheets of kitchen towel and cleaned the whole front bumper (and we are talking 100's of files) in less than five mins. This is normally the worst part of cleaning (OK - apart from brake dust), what a result!

I don't think Camskills sell them but they should be fairly easy to get hold of.

PS. No I don't work for Pampers.

Beau2- nice idea, if it'll get rid of the files stuck to the front of your car, it ought to do an ace job on any flies too.
LOL. Where did the files come from, mate?

Heh, I think my missus would have something to say when all the baby wipes are used up, and she has to wipe the little 'uns backside with a chamois leather !! ;)

alcazar. I copied and pasted from an E-mail without checking the spelling. But I can think of a few files I would like to clean.

MJW. Imagine having to use the Chamois after the wife has borrowed it for the sprog.

Beua2...do you wax the baby's exhaust pipe? If you dont, why not?
