I have a SS-Brembo/AP (with Pagid blue) setup on my Scooby.
Does anybody else have squeeking/grinding noises at slow speed braking? I also slightly 'feel' it through the pedal while braking. Could it be the design of the AP-Discs 'swing line'? Or could it be the 'strong' Pagid pads that make this 'ruff' noise. I am just wondering if anybody else has realized the same thing. Thanks for your input! Maybe it's just stones which got caught between the pads and the disk.

Hello? Anybody experienced the same thing with the SS-Brembos?

Get it with the STI7 brembos w piagids. Got it on my MY00 with piagids. I think all performance pads are like that.

OK, then I will calm down now and relax. Thanks for the answer!!

You will find that the 4-2s (the blue ones) actually squeal more than the black ones (RS14) although these latter ones are superior in terms of heat absorption since they can take up to 800°C, the blue ones 750°C, which means less fade on fast road or track use. :)

To prevent the squealing, put some fine metal sheet in between the pad and caliper and use anti squeal gum / paste. After a good trashing, the pads will squeal less than when cold. :)
