Got a long drive next week, Zeebrugge to Stockholm via Germany and Denmark (at least that's the way MS Autoroute wants me to go :))

Never having driven anywhere round those parts before, I'm looking for advice. I know I'll need warning triangle/first aid kit and I'll have to sort out the headlights and remember to drive on the right :), but is there anything else I should watch out for? What's the attitude of the police towards those of us who like to travel rapidly in each country? Any roads I should avoid or advice from locals?
