Hi there fellow worshipers !
My names Phil and just in the middle of joining the club (stuffs in the post !) Thanks to all who replied to my posting in Events a few days ago. For those of you who haven't heard of me - I'm 21 (in a few days)
and I've had an Impreza Sport since November - love it to bits and have pulled all the local snatch ! Great car - just wondering what is the typical owner like ?
Does he/she go raving ? Cliff Richard fans ?
Multi Millionaires/up to eyes in debt ?
All saints/Spice Girls ? Pink or Brown !
20's or 60's ? Good laugh or stuck up ?
The reason I need to know these bizare things is when I go to my first event I dont want to be out of place now do I - just picture the scene I roll up in my car and the whole of the car park turns around and starts wobling my car and trying to get at my stereo shouting Oi ! get that ****e off ! hehehe - you wouldnt do that to me would you ?

Just got around to replying to your posting on EVENTS then found this. That seems to be the typical owner on here!

I have my ICE switched off a lot of the time just to listen to the lady sing. Watch football, back horses, drink beer, amazing what you can fit in the back of an Impreza eh?

phil, you name it we do it.

you have the total motorsport nuts to the people who have never seen a race car.
you have the ultra well off supercar owner to the person who loves cars but doesnt have the dosh to own a motorbike.

what you will find is that most are friendly, enthusiastic, great fun and a little bit bonkers.

if you realy want to find out quickly what we are all about then come on the chat server, its a right good laugh. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

finaly, welcome to the best comunity on the web.

cheers

john

SunilP, You must be good to catch sheep on the Purley Way (especially the way you drive)!

Penni, I doubt Phil could do a day trip North Yorkshire to Reading, although you might, (especially the way you drive)!

We're all sheep shaggers Phil, so feel right at home okay!

Phil,

Chat server is probably not the best way to gauge the people on here. The regulars on the chat server (me included) are all mad http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/tongue.gif. Its very addictive and huge fun and expensive on the phone bill (on every night).

Phil try and make it to the donington track day. The entrance is free and there will probably be a large scooby presence.

Check out my homepage as it has a few pictures of meets already on there. (homepage is in my profile).

Cheers

chrisp
