Was in Scarboro/York/Whitby area last week for holiday and was quite amazed at the amount of non waving/flashing Subaru drivers in that area (mainly 5 dr owners).

I did pass a nice red 4dr WRX with roof box M1/A1 south on Friday 28th June 11:30 around Catterick who did acknowledge, nice car BTW

Must be tourists mate - everbody up there is just soooooo friendly....

Perhaps they've got a life and aren't anal, or realise maybe there are slightly more important things to occupy their day.......:)

Did you come off on the Northallerton turn off on the A1 - silver, blacked out windows? Probably to fill up or a snack attack;) I was definatley on the A1 southbound with silver roofbox and big STI5 spoiler...on my way to Filey for a weekend camping:cool: SIDC sticker on drivers door and Big One stickers in rear window!

yip m8 that was me going for Toyo's at Northallerton, I came off at Leemings Bar, u went straight on. I too was heading to Filey (Primrose Valley) for my holiday's. 1st time someone I've seen has been on this bbs.

Did you come down the A68? A cow of a road for cameras but a good drive all the same.

Well when your on holiday you expect a bit of good weather to cheer you up :) We came across the A66 to Scotch Corner, good road with no police in sight and quiet. Didn't bother with the A68 for that reason. Came down it a few years ago heading for British GP, nice twisty road but cameras are a pain.
