Hi All,

Urgent question; do I need to remove a Scoobysport downpipe to replace the up-pipe?

There are 3 bolts holding up-pipe to turbo - I can see 2, 3rd is hidden by heatshield.......and maybe the bloody downpipe ;)

Any help/advice appreciated!

Thanks
Richard

We removed the downpipe but not the turbo, but be careful not to stress the turbo when you move things into position. Also try not to push any plugs into the cylinder head and end up taking off and resealing the cam cover like we did    When it pi$$ed out oil we thought we had made a hole in the block  thankfully not, so I am £1000 richer  Lots of  Sometimes you have to jack the engine up by releasing the mounts to get some uppipes or manifolds in as the flange is too big to get up by the engine. Good luck!

Thanks John,

Called it off for now, but my friends went for it (rolling road this morning :D) - they've a 2 piece manifold/up-pipe so was hopefully a bit easier than yours :)
