Be careful with this. In Greece we got V Power, which is Optimax. Same yellow fish commercial, flying out of the water, and "Special ferrari developed UL..."! etc and is also cheaper than SUL. However, Shell Greece said it was indeed 95 RON, :eek: but with cleaning agents to improve performance, cosumption etc.

2 Weeks ago we got another V power, called V Power racing 99+ which Shell said is 99.4 RON. This juice is almost double the price of SUL and the advertisement uses a bronze gold coloured horse instead of the fish.

Perhaps all is not told in the UK and your Optimax is only 95 RON.

Actually thats not the point... I understood Optimax was SUL, but the add just calls it "Special ferrari developed UL..."!

So SUL or NUL ?
And have we all been ripped off for ages if its just "unleaded" ?

it is 98.6 RON rather than SUL 97 and UL at 95 RON.

So it is neither...
