What sets these - the phone or the network?

Sent and recieved a few tonight. Part of the conversation...

Message at 05/07/02 - 22:23:36

The reply to my reply (still with me? :D) is stamped 22:16:38

Hence ends up below the message I know *is* older in my Inbox.

 now!

Its the phone, take the battery out to clear the time and it will show "time not available" on the message details when one comes in...

Well, does on my Nokia anyway...

Just worked it out I think.

Messages which are stored in the Phone memory are stamped with Phone time, where as messages put on my SIM have network time.

Does that make sense?
