Timing will also be altered from the MAF values being adjusted. How the thing then compensates to be able to adjust the fuelling and timing independently I have no idea, sorry, ask Mark V?

L-O sometimes a map can be done remotely if you have Delta Dash, but it would mean a few ECUs being sent back and forth.

Hi !

My MY00 is currently controlled by a unichip included ni the APS-clubman kit(Larger TMIC, full exhaust, IC-piping etc).
I would like to get rid of the unichip in order to get correct readings from the factory-ECU when using deltadash or simular.

My current power was meassured on a rolling road:
BHP: 285
Tourque: 360Nm(4500 rpm).

Can simular result be possible using TEK 2,Performance Remap based on my current mods or is a Tek 3 custom map neccessary?

You need a Tek 3 to do it properly.

John, do you happen to know if the following is correct ?

With a Unichip, when using DeltaDash, you would see incorrect readings on:

1. Manifold Relative Pressure
2. Air Flow sensor voltage
3. Ignition timing ? (not sure here)

Boost is obvious with an external boost controller, and the fuelling map works on altering the incoming air flow voltages. Not sure how the timing works, but my guess is that the ignition map alters the crank position sensor values ?

Just so I know more or less what I'm reading

john,

Ah well, just hoped the tek2 was an alternative, the tek3 is a bit difficult to get someone to map here in Sweden...
