How does it compare with the likes of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and halflife/counterstrike.

Opinions on SP and MP welcome before I shell out on it. I bough the original version and thought it was ok'ish.

i'm playing it at the moment and really enjoying it.

It's the only PC game in a while to pull me away from my PS2/XBOX.

Be careful if you do buy it with the difficulty settings. I play Counterstrike online alot, as do some of my mates so we all put the difficulty level on high when first playing SOF2...
Believe me it's v.hard on certain levels, almost too difficult to get through.. but very rewarding when ya finally manage it.

Ok thanks chap - don't tell me about difficulty levels - I played Medal of Honor allied assault on hard (cos I always play games on hard) and got mullahd constantly - couldn't even get off the damned boat on the beach assault.

Try medal of honor, IMO much better.
