Nice cars but alot of people are put off by the Skoda badge even if they are an Audi underneath.
For £15000 I dont think you can do wrong and these are good for 150 Mph.:D If i had to come down from a subaru i would probably go for a Skoda or a Honda civic type R. |
Bloody companies!! couldnt you choose?? what company car you got.
You should take it back and ask for a better car, atleast they could of given you a VW or another scooby. |
:p:p:p ;)

Not being funny but those Skoda RS are rapid mate, I know I had a play with a few, and in the right hands................ Well who knows ;)
Cheers Phill C |
Very shiney! :D:D:cool:

Nice green calipers :D ;)
|
Said it on muppets, will say it on here. Top purchase mate. i do like the RS's cheaper than equiv VAG products, which means more money to spend on mods. I would seriously consider getting one myself. mainly as when people laugh when I say I have a skoda I'll take em out for a spin and scare em! :D
|
still a skoda though...mate of mine was looking at one....he ended up with a wagon...
|
a wagon impreza or a wagon octavia?
Looking good SWRT, got it booked in for a rechip yet? ;) |
LOL - Still working on getting that one past Mrs SWRT ;)
|
fuel economy, it's all about fuel economy, honest.
|
Once people see the RS in the flesh, or even better take a ride, it's funny how fast the Skoda jokes dry up. 13K miles in mine so far since September and still having fun with people who do not know what the RS has............
|
Two or three people have said "Wow, really nice car. Didn't believe it when I saw the Skoda badge" :D:D
|
Top car, top choice, ENJOY! I nearly got one for a company mota...

Looks well, really like it.
But, and its a big but, as the advert goes "its a Skoda, which for some people is still a problem". not me though, I used to own one of the original Octavias in the early sixties and a fine motor car it was too. Funnily enough it was considered a sought after car back then. The stigma seems to have come along sometime in the seventies when people used them to keep their hands warm in the winter (by pushing them with their hands on heated screen), or when depreciation set in: to double the value they would fill up the tank with petrol. My mate Ted had a convertible one which he eventually used as a skip....Blutes |
nice one !!!!!
planky you just have no idea what you are talking about ... i was always backing skoda up and not only 'cos i'm czech well lets not get into arguments :) i would say that this type skoda 110 R was the best of the older ones and did great in rally too http://upload.turbosport.co.uk/getpi...2287545406.jpg anyway nice car and show them all :D |
Corners well too :D:D
|
I tell ya. If I had to have a standard factory company car that I couldnt modify, this would be on the list.
As a private buyer I would be worried by the badge when I came to sell. Lets face it they are a buyers bargain, so the same might happen for second hand sales. Having said that!, Wasnt that said about Subaru's at one time. and look at us! :o |
Used prices seem to be very firm, reflects the fact that demand outstrips supply. Not many about for much less than £13,000.
