Right.....ive decided im gonna do it.Im actually gonna buy this counter strike game that everyone raves about.
All i need to know is:
a)what version do i need,
and
b)how can i play online line with "You" counter srike clan.

Counter-Strike is an addon for Half-Life, so you need Half-Life, which you should be able to pick up for a tenner by now. Then download the latest patches for Half Life (eg from here) and then the latest version of Counter-Strike.

Latest verison of Half-Life is 1.1.1.0
Latest version of Counter-Strike is 1.5

Dont mind andrew - unless he can code in PHP he gets confused he was trying to say go here. You'll need to register - but then you can get the details of the servers etc that we play on and any help you need getting C/S working.

Is that the old sti server or a new one? Gonna have to jump on pWn you noobs. Stopped playing at 1.4 but reinstalled 1.5 and loving it as I cant miss in 1024 res. Awping needs a bit of improvement though :(

If when you bring up a screen for writing a message, on the LHS above BBS Code Syntax & Smilies Enabled it says "HTML is not allowed" ;)

Once had great fun on this bbs & the RSOC one with a bit of HTML & basically the whole of the RSOC bbs had a picure of PTMW! :D ;)

Now you know why its not allowed ;)
