I may invest in some 17 inch P1 alloys for my 98 uk turbo, what size tires should I use? (currently 205/50 16)
The following sizes have been suggested to me by various people, which one is correct?

205/45 17
215/40 17

Standard fitment on my P1 was 205/45/17. In addition I have a set of P1 wheels for sale at the moment if you are interested?

Either tyre size is ok. Most people fit 215/40/17 as there is a greater choice of tyres in this size.

I too have a set I might part with for the right sum.

good SO3's on them as well.
