Lots of Porsche bits, tuned engine etc, suppose to be very good and even the higher mileage ones still go for 15+k (were talking 100+k on the clock).
Not many people know what these cars are so it scares them when they get left for dead ;)
If you have the money go for it :D a lovely car and one of the best to come out of Audi's stable IMHO :D

Buy back issues of Audi Driver and Evo who have both done 'Buying Used' features on the RS2 in the last 12 months.

A very sorted car, but remember that it is still based on an Audi 80, so dated in some areas. Not knocking it though as you cannot argue with the engine or brakes.

An ex-work colleague of mine has one of these. His lucky enough to own a Subaru Legacy as well (for week day use). He found the Audi just over 12 months ago at a garage near Worcester. After calling me for advise I told him to go for it!
I've been in it a couple of times and the thing flies!!!
The one thing that sticks in my mind is the speed of the rev counter flying into the red!
His is in metallic silver. I think there were only about 100 made and many are left hand drive. My friend's is a right-hander, black leather interior, plenty of dials, and about 35k on the clock.
I'd say go for it. Very practical being an estate as well.

...go for it.... but watch some of the parts prices which were custom to the RS2 - so read the buying guides !

I had one follow me the other night and it looked about 10-foot wide with the wheels sticking out the archers, also had german plates.
These cars are fecking fast.

Read an article in GT Purley Porsche http://www.gtpurelyporsche.com/ about them. The over-riding sensation of the car for the writer was Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag, booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooost!!!
