Me and my girlfriend have just broke up and I don't think realisticly I can afford to keep living in the flat and own the impreza :(

I still will need a half decent car, and I do quite like the look of puma's, I need to know how juicey they are though! :) Also maintance costs etc.....

The Puma's are smart little cars, great handling and pretty nippy.

Can't really tell you much about the maintenance costs as I only owned mine for 7 months before buying the Impreza.

Go test drive one :)

My missus still has my old one, coming up to three years now and for maintenance has cost her......about 360 quid. That's for two new front tyres and two services. You can squeeze about 44mpg out of them on a good run.

Haven't got the outright speed of the Scoob, but just as much fun on the corners ;)

Don't think you will regret one (as long as you don't need four proper seats ;))

Have to agree with Hanslow...had one before the scoob - wifey now drives it and loves it to bits. Take it out now and then when i go to places i would'nt leave the scoob...still brings a :D to my face when i drive it...as said previously great around corners aswell. Only thing I have had to replace is the rubber trim on the front spoiler - ripped it off on a kerb:(

Had a 1.7 when they first came out - loved the car. Handling, engine, etc were great + had an excellent sound system with the six disc changer under the seat. AFAIK it did around 36 mpg.

My wife was going to get one last year (as she loved it) but went for a 206 CC (couldn't resist the roof :)).

Felt the Puma was a 'bit' cramped if two big people sit in the front (not surprising) but was fine when my wife and I were in it (I'm 6'4", big build (read fattish :D) and she's 5'4", small slim build).

I'd certainly get one again.
