I think I’m going mad.

Every few months I give the car a really thorough wash and clean.

But afterwards when I’m driving I notice that the car is more ‘right’ than before the good scrubbing. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif

Mud bunging up the springs/dampers?

Polishing the bodywork makes the car more aerodynamic. Cleaning the Intercooler gets you more power. Blackening the tyres makes them grip better. It's scientifically proven... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

...as is having the SUBARU stickers visible - apparently they give you an extra 10bhp!!!

Sounds about right..well done.

I see the opposite effect, when the car is clean I drive slow, when the car is covered in muck - which only takes 2 miles round here, I lighten up - then again the rear numberplate is as mucked up as the bodywork, almost totally invisible infact. Funny that.

Probably the icreased power to weight ratio after getting all that dirt off. Zymoling can also cause weight loss, its like going to the gyn for 4 hours.

So impressed by the phenomenal acceleration afforded by using leather driving gloves I bought leather shorts, jacket, vest and thong.
Be careful at the petrol pumps though!

Wash the car?! Surely a gentleman has "somone" do that. As for going faster, I'll ask the chauffeur.
