Anyone know who could sand blast 4 wheels for me at a good price.
I,am in the Co.Antrim area

The only one I know is Lister Engineering in Lisburn (don't have their current phone number but should be in the yellow pages). Never used them so I'm afraid I cannot comment on their work.

I would have said them, but you did ask, "at a good price". They are bloody expensive, and the job isnt that good. Its by no means bad, But i did recently go in to get a 15" set of ford rims, just blasted and painted. No damage, no repairs, just a simple blast and paint. They wanted £35 + VAT each!!!!!!!!! Not surprisingly I told him to f*ck off and wise up, and walked out.
If I thought their workmanship was worth it, I would have paid close to that, but it simply isnt, and the wheels were totally undamaged, so to ask that was ridiculous. Its up to you, try and see some wheels they have done, and if you would be happy with them on your car, for that sort of money. Obviously the bigger the wheel the more extortionate the price.
They dont do a bad job, but value for money has to some into it. After all, most new wheels can be bought very cheaply now, and so can good second hand wheels not requiring painted.

G.M.S/Stevieturbo,
did either of you find anywhere else?
Lester just quoted me £45+vat! No chance.

there is a fella outside kilrea (towards moneydig) who does sand blasting and is good at it, can't remember the name though

Never did find anyone else. The shot/bead blasting should be easy done, there must be a few in the yellow pages??
I ended up, being patient with wet and dry, and a few aerosol cans. Finish was OK, but on principal I was happy. The sooner Lester go out of business the better, the robbing bstards.

Has anyone found any alternative wheel refurbishers? My 16" speedlines need re-painting (a few tiny bits of corrosion but mainly faded paint) but not at £53 per wheel!!!

I got a guy called Sam Scott from finvoy to sandblast mine and repainted myself with 2 pack.

Hey I live beside Sam, he is pretty good, he has done work for me before.
