Was in an Omega 2.5 TD taxi the other day. Sounded like a six-banger, and I asked the cabbie about it. He didn't know, but I seem to remember they used the BMW 2.5 TD motor.

Anyone confirm / deny this?

Like the 325tds from a few years back

..but detuned to c130bhp (325tds was 150). Vx then replaced the engine woth their own 2.2 4-pot clanger :rolleyes:
