6 1/2 inch speakers in 6 inch hole
 

2011 impreza sedan

I have 6 1/2" speakers, is it possible to get a bracket that will connect them into 6" holes?

When I look at crutchfield or sonics, they say my car is 6 1/2" speakers. But I have them in my hand and I measured them and they are 6", and my 6 1/2" speakers are too large for the default mounting plate.

I suppose I could jury rig some plywood, if it came down to that. But I thought maybe someone here has a better idea.

Strange , newage cars come with 6.5" ,usually aftermarket ones are to deep thats why brackets are a must.
Think 6.5" brackets for impreza should sort You out,there is a guy on ebay who sells printed brackets,could make You thick and size You wish

Which speakers?

Yea, it's even almost impossible to find 6" speakers. Sonics and Crutchfield both say it's 6 1/2". And IDK about the 6" offerings that they do have, even if I was going to go that route.

Both front and rear. I'm a little disappointed to doesn't have 6x9, but w/e.

If you meant which specific speakers.

They'll fit once you install the speaker mounts, as they taper in.
