Nitrogen execution , what’s the fuss
Have I missed something ?
Lots and lots of fuss on last few days about the execution method of nitrogen gas and is it humane enough . Has everyone forgotten that he killed somebody ? Did he ask if what he was doing to the poor woman was humane ? , I find it a disgrace I’d of tortured the *******. Maybe the method of tying them up and shutting them in a room with the victims family for half an hour should be allowed. |
yes you've missed that the US locks up more people than anywhere else , ask yourself why

Yes if you can separate in your mind the method of killing it’s much easier no doubt
pressing a button rather than cold blooded killing But it’s the same thing |

Firing squads are probably the most humane for those performing the execution as none of the squad know who fired the lethal round.

can't believe in the 21st Century we are allowing something less humane than we treat animals...........and thats before you get into the myriad 'wrongful' prosecutions (not specifically this case as haven't researched it)
but yeah lets have someone writhe about for half an hour before he pops off |
Yeah cos the threat of being offed , even accidentally, is bringing down the prison population by the day !

Not strictly true I am afraid, if you have ever fired a live round there is a massive difference between firing a live round and a blank, the person firing the live round will know instantly. You can also tell by the ejected cartridge.

Pretty sure I heard he was a proven Contract Killer...... so... hmmmmm....
You could have a row of rifles all mounted and pointed at a chair for example, remotely controlled, no human involved then in pulling the trigger... It all came about that the Companies who were providing the lethal drugs/chemicals were being targeted and abused for aiding state execution by the do-gooders, and most of the companies eventually did not want the bad press, or were pressured by other customers/countries. A bloke in his shed in Scotland (!) was the principal source of a lethal cocktail for quite a while, until he was rumbled - hahahaha  Once that source dried up, they had to find alternatives, which are getting ever more dubious. |
