Increase fuel pressure & boost instead of remap

Hi,

is it possible to simply fit an adjustable fuel pressure regulator along with a manual boost controller to an EJ205 engine (2004 wrx) to increase power without needing a remap?

I’m wondering it there is an easy way to mimic a remap without actually having a remap (e.g. increase boost and fuelling manually).

Thanks,
Dan

Delete that thread Sir.

I’m curious if it’s possible. If the ECU has a boost cut, then a voltage clamp circuit could be used on MAP sensor (so ECU never sees above OEM max). Then increase boost and fuelling manually?

Well, if he does it, I hope he tells us the result.

I’m no expert but I think you’ll find there is a lot more than just fuel and boost my friend.
Air being the main thing which is controlled by ecu , ignition timing again controlled by ecu and many other factors that relate back to fuel pressure / quality and as for boost if that’s not precisely managed along with everything else then you will lift the head clean off the block.
