Blowing noise from under engine.
 

Hi all got a blowing noise/air escaping from under the car, It’s a 2006 Impreza I’ve got a sports cat on the downpipe. Just recently had new clutch fitted on return can hear a faint sound from underneath the car it’s constant even more so when accelerating, I’m guessing it’s from exhaust but what are the areas I should be looking at? Thanks. Have tried to upload video but won’t let me, but will keep trying. Any help appreciated.

Hi, downpipe if so remember needs to be removed when clutch is changed. So I would be checking the downpipe gasket on the turbo. And also the gasket between the downpipe and the second cat or cat replacement pipe if you have that instead.

Take it back to where you had the clutch changed!! They should be doing this for you for free!!

I did take it back lol but they said it’s all good nothing loose etc but I can defo hear a blowing sound.
At least now I can tell them where to look and fix the problem.
