2013 Subaru XV
After 2.5 years during my ownership, I've finally detailed the XV for the first time. It's not perfect but has improved dramatically.
Process used: snow foamed, washed & clayed then used Angelwax Resurrection polishing/cutting compound on a Lakecountry orange pad using a DAS6-Pro followed by Angelwax Redemption finishing polish on a finishing lad. The car was washed again to remove any residual oils from the polishes and the panels were cleaned using Bilt Hamber's paint cleanser; finally sealed with Fusso99 synthetic wax. All black plastic trims were restored using Gtechnic's C4 trim restorer. Before/after pics below, it has taken me approximately 20 hours in total. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...a428dc5fb9.jpg Before https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...7f57f48677.jpg Before https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...09a8cb661f.jpg After a 2-stage polish https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...52d2b941c8.jpg After a 2-stage polish https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...e7859e41f6.jpg After waxing https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...df3f127c24.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...9efbc8f93d.jpg |
