Rear link arms - which way is out?
 
I’m doing some work on the rear suspension and now I’m at the point of fitting bushes to the “front rear lateral links”, however I can’t figure out which way is “out” on these ones.

Perhaps it doesn’t matter which orientation the arm is in, but the arm has two weld blobs on one end, which I think look like some kind of markers (all four arms have these two blobs).

the part number is different for the inside vs outside bush, so I know that once I push the bush in, orientation becomes important, but not sure if the arms themselves are symmetrical?

they measure the same dimensions for the hole, but I can’t accurately measure if the angle is different on each side etc (then again, why would it be, hmm). Eg if the bushing tube is offset by say 2 degrees as opposed to 0 degrees, I wouldn’t be able to tell easily.

opposite on each arm..........

04 STi arms / the 2 blobs are on the diff end of the rear "roll bar" arm and on the hub end of the front arm...........
