Need help with ABS
 

Hi guys

I bought a 96 JDM Impreza last year and its thrown an abs light so I tested the sensors and found a dead one, I replaced that sensor ran the car about for 30 mins on the road and nothing light still on. every peice of info says there's and abs test connector under the dash I need to jump a pin to clear the codes.

I have striped the dash completely bare, taken the kick panels out radio, heater panel guage cluster and I cannot find this Abs plus anywhere it's doing my Barnet in, I've re tested all 4 sensors, tested loom side of the abs system, cleaned all 4 rings in the hub to boot and the light still is on. all the fuses are fine,

would anyone know where this fabled plug could be, or do you think I have a more serious problem

Assuming the JDM version is similar to other market area imprezas the ABS diagnostic connector and pins should be under the driver's side dash around the steering column area.

You are looking for a group of connectors ( B75; B52 and B51) on the attached PDF

If they haven't been used before they may be taped up to the harness possibly with pink tape.

Have you tried the slow blow fuse under the bonnet?
