Sti 6 speed viscous centre diff dimensions

Hi,

Would anyone have a viscous centre diff out of an early newage sti 6 speed lying around? I'm after a few measurements please.

Or any drawings or links to the dimensions of the diff?

Part number 38913aa111/112.

I'm after the outside diameter of the input side of the diff where the oil pump gear is please. And if possible the thickness of the oil pump gear to the edge of the circlip.

Any help much appreciated.

Put tires of the same tread depth on the same axle. Put the tires with more tread on your rear axle. Having mismatched tires on the same axle is what makes differentials work overtime. Slight differences in tread depth and tire pressure between the front and rear axles are normal, and will be accounted for by the viscous coupling or center differential (as the case may be).

Hi mate,

I was actually referring to the gear that is on the centre diff itself.

This gear drives an oil pump in the rear housing of rhe gearbox.

Basically I have a rwd spool centre diff without the gear for the pump on it, and was wondering if the gear from the vcd will slide onto the rwd centre diff spool hence why I was asking for the dimensions before I pull it to pieces.

But thanks anyway!
