How to remove grab handle delete plugs anyone?
 

Hi All, on a Classic Wagon where the driver's side grab handle would be (but isn't) there are 2 oval blanks in place of the handle. Does anyone have any experience of how to get them out... is it just brute force until something snaps?... the round plugs in the roof lining I've mastered how to remove them, and they're different fixings.
I'm trying to access the bolts that hold the roof rail on, and need to drop the roof lining on the drivers side to get to them, thanks!

Seems to be made up of 2 parts, an inner and outer - do you actually have to remove them to remove the liner?? AFAIK In the thread below he only removed them so he could wrap the liner.

The 2 letter suffix fror item1 denotes its colour. (NE=roof grey)

Hi Don, thanks for your time and trouble! D'ya know, I think you're right! On closer inspection they aren't holding the head liner in place at all. Very useful thread you've found, and it answered another query I had which was how to remove the front passenger grab handle, which is totally different to the rear ones and much less obvious how to access the screws.
