2002 WRX Wagon PPP 178k - Spares or Repair

For sale is my 2002 WRX Wagon in Green with PPP and 178k which I have owned for 7 years.

MoT expired 09/20. I had planned on doing a front end swap with my Blob Wagon but then decided against that when I considered the amount of work (spot welds!) involved, so it's just been kept as a spares car but I need it moving on now.

It hasn't failed an MoT but the rear arches are quite rotten and I never had a need for another running car, so haven't tried to put it through an MoT again. It ran fine when I last used it but engine is showing age now at 178k. I need to fit a new fuel pipe connector before firing up again. Good points are complete PPP kit fitted from new, Meister R coilovers, rebuilt calipers front and rear (in last couple of years), full black Blobeye interior in black in very good condition, just usual slight softening of driver bolster. It had new exhaust gaskets and genuine O2 sensors in the last couple of years. Front bumper, spot lights, head lights, front wings and doors all good. The bonnet is a bit bent as I had unbolted it from the car but it blew off in the wind...

Probably not worth saving unless you can do the arches yourself but plenty of nice parts on it (PPP, Coilovers, interior etc) to upgrade a stock WRX. Or there is money in there to break but I have neither the time nor inclination to pull it apart and sell piecemeal. It has the later grey WRX wheels but the tyres are illegal. I've already removed the rear ARB and probably want to keep the front passenger door. There are possibly a couple of trim pieces I haven't put back (A pillars maybe). I figure it must be worth more to someone than simply weighing it in for scrap.

I have the key and alarm fob works, along with the V5 and leather owners folder. More photos or details upon request.

You would need to arrange collection from GL8. £500.

Is that green a fairly rare colour? Just asking as I sold a set of blob wagon wheels to someone with a very similar car a few years back.

So are you left with the Foz in the background, or are there others lurking there?

Blob in the background. In the process of getting back on the road and MoT.
