2.1 stroker info needed

Hi need a bit of advice and help I've a 2005 blob sti. My plan is going down the route of a 2.1 stroker. As currently it has a jdm engine it is a UK car. On sc46 with supporting mods running 451 mapped by scoobyclinic. I've been speaking with wilks engine who is close to me for the build. Now the help I need is what turbo would see 550hp stock location and a good clutch to take the power. Below is the spec of the work to be carried.
Using a Cdb with Rear thrust conversion drilled to take 14mm studs.
RCM head gaskets Mahle pistons. Manley plus rods Race bearings 11mm oil pump. Using your baffle plate. Heads drilling engine boring. Mahle 2:1 stroker pistons 2016type. 2:5 crankshaft
Blocks and heads surface ground. Head work including 14mm head studs.

Would give you far more options and possibly better spool.

The TA car i drive has over 700BHP using a stock location turbo 2.1 litre

550BHP is a piece of cake. Speak to Simon at Chevron in Stafford about the options you have, there are lots depending on your requirements.

My road car I used for sprints doesn't have anything more than he has on the engine that would alter the power potential. You can see 550BHP no problem with a stock position twin entry turbo with basic 2.1 engine spec, stock JDM heads and cams, Genuine twin scroll turbo power is more limited due to the flow capacity of the exhaust housing, but you can still see just under 500BHP and over 500lbft from that setup.

Twin entry loses a bit of spool compared to genuine twin scroll, which is why I didn't chase more power as my car is predominantly used for the road, plus sprints often have slow speed corners where spool and torque matters most. The TA cars 700BHP is far too much for the road, but shows you can get a lot more power from a stock position turbo than most people think.
