JDM Forester STI

I am considering one of these as next car. Most seem to be auto boxes. How do these compare to a manual? Never fancied auto, maybe you get used to it. Anything to look out for with these cars or anyone selling one?Quay vehicle solutions seem to have a couple for around £9k mark. Any thoughts on dealer etc ?

I think you maybe confusing the STI version with the Cross Sport model.
The FSTi (2.5T) was only offered as a 6MT whereas the Cross Sport 2.0T can be had with either manual (5MT) or auto(sportshift).

The Fsti ,2004 to 2007 sg9 , a great sleeper car , very quick when you want to be but also good on fuel around 35 mpg if driven very sensibly , main things are rust as with any car , but if it’s a fresh import then that’s a good way or normally getting a very clean car , and check engine is ok , two model types , mostly just cosmetic changes between the models , i prefer the newer shape of the two , generally pretty bulletproof
