I know these cars are getting rarer, pistonheads use to have 100+ Subarus for sale but now there’s 30 odd and it’s been like that for a while. I’m don’t think anyone in the right mind would Spend 100g on a Subaru spec c...c’mon that’s ridiculous.

Looks purely like a PR stunt to me. A few weeks ago an RA-R sold for about £55k at auction which is the far superior more collectable car - higher miles or not. Don't get me wrong, I understand these cars genuinely are becoming thin on the ground now and the prices have risen dramatically for even JDM STI's but 100k? I don't think so.

In the true heyday, there were closer to 1,000 for sale on PH

long time ago now though.
