Impreza wagon 2.0 N/A stuttering

Hi all I’m new to the Subaru world I have a 2001 bugeye wagon 2.0 N/A that has a stuttering at low revs 1k to 2.5krpm then what to go after that

any help would be great

Quite a few things it could be.

Air filter
Spark Plugs
Idle air control valve
Coil Packs
Bad batch of fuel

Could be other things to check but can't think of any off the top of my head.

Might want to look at fuel pump then

And when you've looked at those parts, try

02 sensor
MAF sensor

I would go for spark plugs. It doesn't need V Power being N/A. Super unleaded is for high performance engines with hi compression. Work best on turbo engines.

Wouldn't thought it would be coil pack, as thats normally at high revs.

I recently replaced both on a 1.5 hatch (2007) and the air fuel one as the car was kangarooing at low to medium revs. On that car the MAF slides in to the air intake by the air filter housing. Gambled on a secondhand one for £15 but get a genuine one if you can. Not sure which fixed it but all 3 did !!!

try cleaning maf first , if there’s an improvement then that could be the issue , a bit of carb cleaner helps

You could grab a cheap VAG obd lead and actually log what's happening.
