Version 1 Closed Deck In V5 turbo 2000

Hi,
Hope someone can shed some light for me, i have a version 1 closed deck block and i want to forge it and put it in my v5. i have an esl ecu in the car will i have to change the ecu for the version 1 or will i be able to just swap everything over?
Any help would be appreciated,

If you are just using the V1 block and your V5 heads and all the ancillaries then your ECU will be what you need
