Are you getting the itch again?

I notice you're from Ireland, not sure what the market is like there but I do remember seeing a post from Raggy Doo that imports command a higher price then over here.

On one of my local forums there is a jdm blob, 80000 miles, bodywork needing attention, up for 13.5k. Seeing as there are spec C's around for that, it seems a bit expensive.

The above must be a Spec C unless the roof vent has been retro fitted.

Donie 13 May 2020 11:07 AM

No, Its not a Spec C . Roof vent was fitted in Japan, Its not mine.
Lad ha it advertised, He is thinking of selling, looking for offers.

10,500 euros

(Although not sure if that's the genuine advert, as the OP has more information!)

The advert is a bit vague.

Donie 13 May 2020 03:05 PM

He put a price up on the advert.
I was a bit off in my guesstimate in price.
The VRT to change to Irish plates is expensive.

Expensive from Ireland to England ??
Would it need to be registered over here ?

RAGGY DOO 13 May 2020 06:30 PM

33 percent of the open market value of the car
and God only knows what other taxes they invented since

So just say i bought the car i would have to pay 33% on top ?
The advert says it is a UK car ?

RAGGY DOO 13 May 2020 07:21 PM

are you in Belfast mate?

RAGGY DOO 13 May 2020 07:35 PM

Other end, co cork
if you were bringing that car into the south of ireland from the uk looking at 5 to 8k taxes

Dave Y 13 May 2020 07:40 PM

Going by the ad it says the car is in Galway.and it says the car is a uk car.

RAGGY DOO 13 May 2020 07:52 PM

If it's going the other way you dont have the tax laws in the uk happy days
and if hes paid the taxes he can claim a rebate if it's being exported

Donie 13 May 2020 09:20 PM

I'm going to check the car tomorrow or Friday. He has to come back to me on when he is free.
will see if the car is genuine or dodge

Ok, went to look at the car yesterday, Nice clean car. As stated above the advert was a bit vague.
Imported from Japan July 2019 so clean under body
greddy slam panel.
upgraded air intake under bonnet scoop
Has a spec C air turbo fitted,
Whiteline rear anti roll bar and adjustable drop links. Thats all is could see from the ground.

There was a decat downpipe and new oem oil pump included in sale as a new timing belt kit was going to be fitted.
Sound guy, well into he's subarus too like the rest of us.

Left a deposit and will be back next week when i get the funds.

Plan to do:
* Soften the coilovers
* Full timing belt kit
* remap for Irish fuel
* fit a front splitter
* fit a nice guage cluster
