Who's was this?

Afternoon all,

Has anyone seen this hawk before, I saved this photo years back from the site, and its for me the ultimate look for a hawk in blue especially. Was wondering if anyone knew where it was or who's it was. Would love to hear the spec list!

Recognise that number plate, sure someone on here. Yea looks really nice that does.

Loos almost identical to mine. Mine has black xxr wheels though not rota's.

wilki 07 April 2020 02:56 PM

Did some digging, looks like it may have been owned by Peter A, then Bodski, then Lucko then Mestonian.

Trying to dig out the spec :)

Lovely motor that is

Just noticed it has the side skirt extensions fitted, not a fan of them if I'm honest. Less is more when it comes to impreza styling. Rest of it looks bang on though.

Thanks buddy, a splitter and de-tangoed/blacked headlights makes the biggest difference to a hawk.

Looks lovely except the wheels, awful things only surpassed in their crapness by xxrs.
why do people do it when you can get pf7s or bbs oem items for a similar price

I think it's just personal taste mate. I dont like any std subaru wheels especially pf7's. My car came with xxr's when I bought it so I was chuffed.

I think if you have the skirts you need the full kit or it may look a little un-finished in my opinion.

I think I agree but feel like the rear bumper ones are a little gash

Jon T 07 April 2020 08:42 PM

When I put the rear ones on mine they just looked odd when you looked at it from behind so I put a two piece diffuser on and now I love them.

To be fair, Rota are a Philippine company who knock off more expensive designs from quality firms like Ray's, and they've been done to death, so I tend to agree with him. I understand why people like the look of them, but they are an inferior wheel to most oem wheels.

MarkRF 08 April 2020 12:31 AM

Bloody terrible wheels - I put a brand new one on the balancer and it needed a ridiculous amount of weights put on to square it up.

maybe I just got a bad set though.

I couldn’t even get the white rota grids so that’s why I got the bolas instead which are probably even worse but as stated I think they look fantastic, not had any problems yet
